Adult Domains = Rubbish PPC
ND have a 24 hour delay between posting generic prices and getting the exact rate from their ad partners.
$0.02 is pretty average I'm afraid
It's the opposite for me, after adjustments my PPC rate is alway's higher.
I find ND pays around 3 times more than Sedo on my names?
I'm sorry to hear that your love affair with ND wasn't particularly long-lasting. I can only say I'm sorry that you've decided to go back to Sedo but do have to point out that your test maybe showed us in not the best light.
I think judging our entire program on 16 clicks from Friday is a little harsh.
Firstly as they were adult clicks - notoriously low-paid.
Secondly as 4 of the 16 came from Asia or 'Other' - notoriously low-paid
Thirdly as Friday is a low-PPC day as PPC budgets are exhausted earlier in the week.
Fourthly, well 16 clicks is 16 clicks and not many to make a definitive judgement on.
It does state on every stats page that we show default click prices until we receive the real earnings from Google. We prefer to do this rather than set generic per-keyword prices that Sedo do as it allows our customers to see how high Google will actually pay for a click. And unfortunately how low.
I'm not going to make any bones about it, if Sedo pay far more for those domains then that is simply a fact and there's no amount of words I can write here to dispute that, so I'll stop.
I hope you have a decent Sunday despite our poor performance.
I think you'd find if you moved all domains from Sedo to Namedrive for a week (providing they aren't all adult) and looked at it as a day/day performance Namedrive would come out on Top by some way overall. (For me it's averaging 200-250% better) but then of course it also depends on the domains and where the traffic is coming from.
3 times? Is this true?
200-250% better? Is this true?
I have a Sedo pro account which is said to pay more than a 'standard' Sedo ppc account, although I'm not sure how much more in percentage terms, but ND paying 2 to 3 times more than Sedo seems too good to be true. How is this possible?
