Not sure using an email with "scam" in is all that smart

Go to your paypal account and ad a new email address perhaps just for the donations?

Would agree with that, however I have the username of welsh dodgy geezer elsewhere which I have had for a looooooong time with (hopefully) no ill effects!

I do donations on a 'whats it worth to me' basis, so I reg ten names for £50 - bang over 10-20 quid etc.

Likewise I am sure if you packaged up a wodge of names in a big list people will pay for 'first look' - I know I have done so before. Could scale it ie. £50 to see the list first, £25 to see it next then free for all on the forums...

Case of trial and error I think - and perhaps people could PM him indicating if they are interested?

@ Itrends, the scam word in my email addy relates to my anti fraud website at Scam Information Links :: Scam Links - Information - Scam Alerts - News - Scam Victim Resources

@ Rob, those donation figures sound fair enough to me, so I'll leave it with the what people think it's worth to them, and the idea for scaling it as first to see might work, I'll think about that one, cheers for the advice again!

[edit]

I have another couple of addies attached to my Paypal account, but how does that work, do I have to change my primary PayPal account addy and make another addy the primary one, or will sending donations to any addy attached tp the account go straight in to the account?

I registered a more suitable new addy to use and edited my previous post to add it, it's now regfreedonations@yahoo.co.uk for donations, cheers.

I was going to suggest changing your paypal address hehe.

It maybe worth when you post your lists, posting them in categories ?

10 x Financial

10 x Automotive

10 x Cosmetic

or

Bonus 50 x Medical

Also you should include a note that says 'Full List Available To Buy' on the end.

You may also want to post a new thread for each one

Sending to any of the addys comes to the account.

I tend to run one of paypal@domainnamehere.com makes it easy to track, clear what it relates to, and easy to block spam if you are posting it around the net

@ Julian, when you said, Dan Koos, I thought you were using slang to refer to people saying, thank you, but it appears that you were refering to a member on here called, Dan Koo, he has bought quite a lot of the domains from the different lists I have been posting lately, and he has given me a good donation, so, to Dan, thank you for being my one and only donator, so far, much obliged!

An update, these are the remaining domains from my first post on this topic, please send any PayPal donations to regfreedonations@yahoo.co.uk whatever you think is a fair amount, cheers::

Smile Alright Guys!

You are very welcome!

I think after buying up a bunch of those names quickly, within a few hours of you posting them, it has created a buzz around this thread. In fact, around this section, as I have noticed a higher supply of lists posted within the last few days.

I agree with Rob, it depends on how much you value a domain. The donation will depend on whether the domains are exceptional and worthy of a donation. Sometimes you come across a domain and think it is worth a few quid to yourself, but would not be worth much more on the market.

As you all know a domain is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it!

I just happened to be awake in the small hours that morning. I did pick some nice names, although I don't value the domains too highly. As I am buying in bulk I was happy to shoot some notes your way.

I am currently buying .uk domains daily, and receiving "for sale" lists daily. Please bare with me if I have not come back to you yet with answers, and if your lucky, offers!

All the Best!
DAN

Hi ! Systreg

With regards to what Itrends was saying about posting your e-mail address around the net.

With Yahoo you can create endless amounts of disposable e-mail addresses which attach to your main e-mail address, you could use 1 for donations.

If the address becomes bombarded with spam you simply delete the disposable e-mail address and create a new one.

Have a read below

Yahoo! Mail
