I'm following the minimalist line however that's not to say there is money in them thar hills!

I made a sale today of a domain I picked up a couple of months ago on these boards so 20% is on it's way admin.

Yes, a very good question admin!

I think that the key to vastly increased sales could well be in the marketing of domain names, however there is almost definately a mine-field or two to cross using this approach.

With the likes of the Game senario recently who would dare to approach prospective parties when there is the possibility of confiscation!

Any ideas on a feasible and safe marketing solution storebuilder....is there one?!?

Well I must confess that I had someone in mind for the name when I regged it and also it was a subject that is close to my heart. I was surprised to seeing it sitting there as a small little orphan lying unregged when I grabbed it.

I think for the most part, grabbing domains is a great business IF you have the capital to sit on your investments for a while to come.

From what I see most domain grabbers have the technicalities for grabbing the domains but not the nous for marketing them.

Of course there is a select band who have both and they are the ones who are coining it.

As with any type of marketing: It's one thing to own the domain, quite another to be able to sell it for real money.

I think I probably made a cheap sale - but in the scheme of things I can buy more lottery tickets with the sale.
