Lightbulb Why Hull?
Just done a small project to help bring Hull into peoples, businesses eyesight and radar.

Still need a few tweaks and that but would appreciate any comments, tips or ideas.

I hope to offer advertising as an option but is more of a personal project if your thinking "Why".

the navigation on the bottom is a little annoying as i keep having to scroll down??

Knives not a good thing for a front page I don't think, not with all the knife crime on people's minds, if people weren't thinking floods before they landed on your site, worse they will be thinking knives now.

Would have to agree with Lee about the knives. Nice clean design though!

I don't really 'get' the line that Hull is the Swiss Army knife of UK cities, is that a local expression? It doesn't really work for me.

On the submit form I'd make the webpage field non-compulsory. Surely not everyone who has anything decent to say about hull will have a webpage/site.

Cool, looks good fun. The navigation menu is below the fold though for all vertical resolutions below around 850 (so can't be seen on a 1280 x 800, for example), maybe more depending upon toolbars installed.

For those that have a resolution that doesn't show it, some will scroll down and see the menu, others will just not realise there is a menu at all and click off the site.

Point taken on the menu and will move to the top ASAP!

The knife bit i can kind of see that and can't see people been put off or will think knife crime must be high in Hull. I think people will get the idea with the slogan and it's a multi use tool not a killing kitchen knife.

Slogan... No it's not a local slogan just one that I made up but it is quite true to be honest if you look at Hull's growth and development!
