Question is there a limit to how many pages a site should have?

just wondering how many pages a site should have "roughly" is there a maximum?

thanks.

As long as it isn't copy and paste content, and is relevant to the site, then I certainly don't see the need for a limit. If anything additional content increases the value and reach of a site.

Of course though time is a factor, so on the flipside there is no need to create more content then is necessary for a one man project (as opposed to a user generated content type site).
