Website idea - alternative to sedo

Ive just thought of an idea for a website which i think is better than sedo for most people.

The problem is i need someone i can trust to look at the idea and tell me if they think it would work or not... or even come in on the idea and develop the site.

The idea is not for everyone, but i think it will be better for 90% of the domain name holders who want a steadier income rather than hoping for that massive payday when your domain name fetches £100,000 (which will never happen for most people)

Ill see who is interested (if anyone) then ill go with my gut instinct to pick out who i will trust with it.

Im not sure but i think ill need a TAG holder for the idea.

This is just an idea ive had so it may not even work, or may even sound stupid

No mate, its nothing like that at all.

Ive spent a few hours searching and cant find anything like my idea, im not saying its not already been thought of, but i cant find it anywhere.

My idea is perfect for the average domain name, but its no good for owners of fantastic domain names.

The way i see it is that most people have average domain names, at first glances the idea doesnt look great, but the more you think about it i recon it could be a better money maker for most people and a massive money maker for the site owners. (once it takes off obviously)

If there was a way to sell the idea then i would as i dont think i have the skill or means to devlop the site on my own.

You can guarantee that its been thought of and has already been done to some degree!

You will have to give some clues as to what involved as I can't see anyone being interested unless you do,

Yeah i agree, it is very unlikely it hasnt been thought of already and even if it hasnt been thought of then the chances of it working are slim as with any idea... good or bad.

Ill probably end up posting the idea here anyway coz there isnt a chance in hell i could do it.

The clue is ... its pretty much like sedo but the way the revenue for the parking and sales per domain are paid out would be completely different.

I suppose sedo could add the choice to there site as another option for there members.

The idea of trafficmonster is that it is a one click install to set up the content management system and then you start adding your content through the admin interface.

Revenue can be derided from a mixture of google adsense, amazon, your choice of affiliate link etc.

In this way you get to build traffic on your domain and keep a much healthier portion of the advertising revenue. Plus you get the increased value of the domain by building traffic.

Yeah, thats a good idea but mines nothing like that, although i suppose all parking ideas have got to be pretty simaler.

If someone wants ill pm them the idea just to get an opion on it. Then you can post back here to say if you thought it was crap or not
