Note the word 'cheap'

Its for a holding page and I simply require a logo with an email address incorporated underneath.

Get gimp (it's a free open source (mac or pc) alternative to photoshop (but without all the bells and whistles) that has functions to create banners, buttons and more besides - photo / graphics manipulation etc.

Will take you 30 secs to do a decent logo

I would do but for the fact I have no internet connect at my new place yet, I can't find my Laptop and im in the pub.
