    Hi Guys

I first mentioned my washing machines page a while back. I've not really managed to rank it well.

    1) If anyone thinks this page is good enough, kindly Like / Tweet / Google+ it.

    2) Any suggestions on where to get links for this page?

    3) Do you think it's now a flawed strategy to even attempt to rank a page like this, rather than get a domain and build a focused site?

    Thanks

It looks pretty keyword stuffed, perhaps this is having a negative effect.

    +1

I had a site that was a little keyword heavy and it tanked, i reduced the keyword % and it was back not long after.

Agreed. A quick search for keyword density tool and there are loads that will help analyse the page content. Vary with LSI Keywords to reduce the amount of keywords that appear too many times. Maybe try and promote less competitive keywords to that page with any link building.

Way too many ads above the fold. Also nofollow your social media buttons.

IMO its not very user friendly.

There is obviously lots of info there it just needs to be presented better

What are your bounce rates like? I'd be reaching for the back button I'm afraid.

It's way too long I feel, sorry. It needs splitting up into easy to read, bite-size sections, with a nicer template (modern/fresh/clean).

Long pages like this always make me think of those spammy sites with buy my e-book or product pages that go on and on and on and on.........

Copyscape.com shows just a couple of matches on your content (just brand names), so looks like your content is unique enough anyway. :)

this is the link i am getting....some #code tracker....
i had this same problem with my site probably this is due to addthis plugin....try to remove it people think these are kind of trackers....and people get scared....

if you can then change the page title to "Washing Machines" rather than "My Washing Machines Page"

also try to get rid of "index.php"...you can do it using your htaccess file....and just keep it as http://www.lowprices.co.uk/

Yes, I do have AddThis on it, and I wasn't that keen on the tracking code being added to the url. Is there a good alternative for adding social buttons easily?

    Thanks

and i know you have no idea what happened and what to do....lol.....i had the same problem with my site....just send a message to addthis support they will solve the problem for you....

when i had this problem i couldn't solve and panicked i immediately switched to sharethis social plugin....sharethis is also good but i still prefer addthis....they provide some great features.....and better than sharethis....

so try to solve the problem if you fail then switch to sharethis......

I counted term 'washing machine' 160 times! made me lol after 100! might be a bit ott,

the page title and meta desc don't describe the page at all

it looks like you wrote the page for the search engines, like in the h2 tags you don't need to keep repeating the term 'washing machines'.

plus with all of those h2 tags your telling the SE bots every part of the page is as important as the each other.

personally I would seperate price comparison and consumer advice bits up for more targetted pages for help with organic search.

I think for organic search you have a lot of work to do, get the coffee on mate! :)
