Hi everyone

I have been busy teaching myself a some new & upgraded software. I have done 2 or 3 before the Buckingham Palace site but wanted your expert views on my progress.

Still ironing some of the code but let me know what you think.

Serif webplus is still not the way to do it properly, but I guess its not bad

Photoshop + Notepad++ (or coda if you have a pretty mac)

SEO:

Title is wrong
Keywords are stuffed and should be words, not phrases
Stylesheet should be external
H1 Tag is wrong
Lots of inline styling
Image names are rediculous
No non-www redirect
Invalid code
Need I go on?

Design:
Its not terrible.
Unsure about the menu
I like the quotes
I dont like the boxes having to be clicked in the bottom right.
Some other thoughts but nothing major.

You are good at design just serif webplus has let you down. :/

Needs quite a bit of work as mentioned above there is alot of code errors just see g entry to see some of them One question wouldn�t you be competing with the official site� is there that many tickets available�? Isn�t it limited to 60 days a year..? Opening ?

Web plus sucks.

Proper web design = Photoshop + Hand Coding

Until you learn to do that your designs will have bad seo and not be the best they can be :/

Thanks for the feedback, for quite some time I have been coding using notepad, my designs are all done in pure vector/photoplus/corel/photoshop . I thought I would give webplus 4 a blast for speed, it doesn't SEO like my normal work and I must admit I'm not a fan of internal css but the design work is very quick and I'm looking at cleaning the code up and switching the css to external after the designs is finished. Does appear to index quite well, despite the code problems.

Aston, your obviously a very experienced coder and I appreciate your feedback, when I get time to revamp the code I will be using your list of errors to help.

Namealot, sort of, the official site will probably always be top but I hope to get some of the traffic from directs etc. I'm getting traffic from around 12 different countries and approx 18-20 uniques a day.

Boxerdog, as Ashton says its not so cleaver with the code, I have hundreds of domains still to dev before March next year with a plan to get each of them making around �2 a day income, so thought its worth a go, and x4 is faster than DW for me, but the code suffers, probably fixable with a few changes and good old notepad.
