Hi all,

Have just started out in the whole domain name buying/reselling business. So far, nothing... but still hopefull!
I'd appreciate any tips that you guys have picked up to make a good sale. I suppose it really is all down to the name you have and who wants it at the time.

Here's a list of some good and bad and in between names that I've bought so far:

Good (I think so, no sales so far so could be wrong!):
saveabroad.com
saveoverseas.com
topwebsaver.com
targetadvert.com

In between good & bad:
saverdomain.com
premiumbargain.com
bigcashwins.com
discountoday.com

Bad:
pokeroom666.com
banktosave.com
web15.net
intracash.com

I've got a few others but nothing really worth mentioning. So far am only selling with Sedo as it is free

Hey there Im new here and new to this business also. but I noticed that you mentioned that sedo is free.. Just wait till you make a sale..haha

Yeah, I've noticed that. Lovely 10% of the top with a minimum of I think it was £35 or something like that.

Doesn't sound a lot now, but I'll feel that when the sale goes through. Then again, hope I actually sell something.

I've just tried listing targetadvert.com on their "Featured Domain" area. So far 63 views, but no bids! I guess these things take time.

And just to complete the post, I was going to list needbig.com, which I found through various appraisal sights was my most potential domain name... only to find out that Sedo had classified it as adult material, hence cannot go into their "Featured" section! I'll admit, needbig.com can be naughty, but also has so many other possibilities!!!! Ah well.

As you are starting out, what are your thoughts so far?
