| Member | Hi from Dublin Hi, I'm Allie and I live in Dublin. Although I bought my first domains in 2001, I'm only now getting into domaining properly (I hope). I bought my first co.uks a few weeks ago. The co.uks I think are my best ones are: fancyfrocks, londonlady, senseandsensibility, findthefunds, heirhunt and themayoroflondon. Possibly my worst ones (depending on your taste) are: businessz and carsz. To me these are business and cars with that little extra something, lol. I'm hoping to learn a lot on this forum. I belong to a couple of US forums, but I naturally feel closer to those domainers on this side of the ocean. |

| Member | I think it was boysingreen.com and theboysingreen.com, or it might have been pelargonium.com. There was only a day or so between them, to the best of my recollection. As far as I know to register a name in .ie you have to also have a business registered in the same name. I believe that you can now get your own name, but it must be the full name, not either the first name or the surname on their own. I bought fancyfrocks.co.uk and londonlady.co.uk for my daughter to develop - she lives and works in London. Also, my great-grandmother was born in Cheltenham, so I do have that little drop of English blood that draws me to co.uk. Do you have anything interesting yourself? |
