Just had a letter and and reply via email with a really below the belt offer..

I suppose an offer is better than no offer, I said hes got more chance of walking on the moon.

it's a good domain, aged and i expect will get a reasonable price in future, but it's perfect for an application of yours , re: RS

Me too, had a letter - which I just pulled out of the bin, with an email address to reply to john @ jtwallin dot com

Very polite letter 'we noticed you own cork dot co uk and wanted to see if you would be interested selling ...

I tend to bin all these sorts of letters - as the name is listed at Sedo.
