email received;

Hi,

I noticed that you own xxxxxxxxx and wondered if you are aware that xxxxxxxxxxx will soon be released.
The previous owner failed to renew it.
If you would like this premium extension to complete your branding and web presence, or even to just stop
domain squatters getting there hands on it then let me know.

As an expert in the area of acquiring dropping domains and with an 80% success rate I can help.
Please don't hesitate to get back to me as there are just a few days before the domain is released.

Kind Regards

Gary Willicott

I get, text messages being the worst,

Put an ad in a paper for a car at a bargain price and put his phone number. See how he likes it back when 600 people ring him every day.

Then ask him if he wants to play ball......

Yeah I've had these too. I thought, cool .com is dropping. Added it to my Pool/Snapnames account and bought it for $60 or whatever.

A pain yes. But useful.

Nice to have .co.uk/.com combo.

I have in your pocket in the .co.uk and sign up to a site to find out how much the .net was going to cost me and got bombarded with emails, letters, calls and this happened every month. Came down from £2500 to £1250 if i remeber rightly

But no never took it up.

I also had a guy from a networking meet constantly emailing me with shite with a very bad format layout and approach and had to email him quite a few times to say look stop or i'll come to your office and smash your pc up.

Carried on for a little longer but I ended up submitting his email address to everything under the sun through a proxy. mwhahahahhaaaaaaaa

don't get any email any more.
