Japanese Whois ?

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone knows how to contact the domain of .JP domains please ?

Whois search gives me limited result and email from registrar.

The website I am after does not have contact details neither.

Yes, Edwin looks to be best placed for that info.

I always thought Japan was extra careful when it came to personal details though, but maybe i'm wrong. There was a TV program on a couple of months ago, in which it said that even the Japanese Police had no rights to access personal mobile accounts in the murder of an English 'escort'. Now that's plain stupid, but there you are!

Not sure if this is what your after trying to find the owner or drs sort of thing but they have info on both...? but very limited, Edwin should have a much better knowledge

Registrant must had the option to optout for privacy...and no contact on their website...a bit of a pain.

You can't. I know this from experience trying to find people. They're very privacy-conscious, and if it's opted out there's NOTHING to be done.

Is everything always blanked out ? ie: name or town or ...

Sometimes, on some supposedly private registrations, we can trail back with a small left over detail.
