    Hi

Can anyone point me to a tool or resource that lets you see the volume of search results for a particular term during a set period?

We are looking to see the growth of a particular word comparing say 2008, 2009 and 2010.

    Thanks

I'm not sure but if its just an indication of growth you want to see and not actual figures you could use google trends
    www.google.co.uk/trends/

They updated the interface into Insights for Search which is pretty useful:

    http://www.google.com/insights/search/

Still no exact numbers though, it's all relative (and I *think* broad, not exact match). If you want exact numbers though you can download Microsoft's Ad Intelligence plugin for Excel which gives real numbers from Bing - possibly just for the last 12-18 months though - and then extrapolate to Google's 90% market share.
