Thamks Steven - didn't know about that. Does that include renewals?

Yeah, fixed price of £4.96. I've used it in the past, I think I'm going to go back to it myself to be fair. Have too many domains at different registrars!

Yes, I like all mine in one place. Got a few to sort out.

Surprised GoDaddy haven't been pushing that to those with 100+ names - all their promotions seem to be about market share not long term retention. Must be the IPO coming up.

I'm quite glad to be moving away from them tbh.

Just transferred some more names to Namecheap - cost was £5.09 per name with free whois privacy and no annual "club" fee.

Code still working for transfers - SWITCH2NC

    Pretty good price!

Doesn't it annoy you carting them back and forth to different registrars though. Do you own many non .uk domains?

I don't move them every year. I've been at Go Daddy for years, but the lack of renewal codes at the expense of gaining new registrations ahead of the IPO forced me to look for an alternative.

What I used to do the last Friday of every month is renew my dotcoms for the coming month so as not to be caught out by Go Daddy's high auto renewal rates (previously I'd find a code to save on renewal fees).

Now, I am moving a batch every month rather than renewing them and I'll be staying with Namecheap unless their renewal prices rocket too.
