Has anyone found that ror-epp.nominet.org.uk gives this greeting?

    "<svID>Nominet EPP server epp.nominet.org.uk</svID>"

You would think they'd have changed the label!

It's probably the same servers, they've just isolated a couple and put a different load balancer in front of them.

Cheers, just as I thought it was all going well – "time correct to within 30 ms"

Would anyone be kind enough to help me bring that down?! :D

It syncs your time with the server at 1.uk.pool.ntp.org. If you prefer another NTP server, use that instead - they should all be the same.

Use an existing registrantID from the live server; nothing from the testbed will work.

The ROR EPP had a certificate error. I whinged to Nominet today and fair play to them, they sorted it within a couple of hours (after sort of insinuating the error I was getting was my issue). It saved having to recode my script. If anyone had errors connecting previously, it may work now. :)o_O

I'm still getting <svID>Nominet EPP server epp.nominet.org.uk</svID> for the ror-epp.nominet.org.uk address. Is that the same for everyone else???

We're offering something a bit different at https://www.name.uk
No pre-orders or queues, just live registrations on the day.
Good for your last minute domains, or 2nd/3rd tier domains.

Will the process be, search for the domain, if available complete checkout and pay, and then you will instantly register? I guess it will be subject to how many requests vs creates you have per minute if it's instant

Only one domain per search? no bulk feature?

Yes instant registration. The process can be speeded up if customer pre-register and add funds on account beforehand. We'll give full refunds of any unused funds.
Of course we could run out of requests but we are on a fairly high tier. We /may/ make a bulk register available with 15 domains at a time.

Was it confirmed what's happening with .co.uk normal drops in the week? Am I right in thinking Nomnet have said they're won't be any? Any news on when those domains will then drop, if so?

I recall them saying no drops will take place on the normal system at 2pm but cannot remember for how long, sure it was an hour or two.
