Couldn't afford the co.uk so bought the org.uk for £1500
Good price for seller & buyer I think.

Good to see people are paying good money for .org.uk's as this should help push the UK domain market back in the right direction, plus its good news for all those with nice .org.uk's e.g. wifi.org.uk and so on..

As I always say... Domains are only worth what a buyer is prepared to pay, you find the right buyer and your onto a winner. People can always say you paid to much for a name or that the seller let it go too cheap - If the end result is your happy then thats all what matters.

    Take care,

    Barry

Is that your first org.uk purchase Scott? I only ask as I know from the past you were not interested in them.

Will you also now look at prime me.uk's? They rank just as well.

First org purchase yes, I wanted that keyword set so it offered value to me. Not looking for any others but would always consider it as an option to a co.uk I was after.

.org.uk domains rank really well, I just hope nothing changes in the near future as I bought quite a few last year including a few insurance names carinsurance.org.uk, lifeinsurance.org.uk, businessinsurance.org.uk, motorbikeinsurance.org.uk etc.. plus some others like schools.org.uk (site coming very soon)

If anyone catches any .org.uks with PR let me know as I maybe interested in them

    Cheers

    Paul

So was videogames.org.uk already ranked on google, or developed?

I'm very interested to find out having just caught racinggames.org.uk.

    Thanks,

    Calum.

Just a domain name with no beneficial history Calum, dropped recently as well.

I'm sure you could have pushed for less, they wanted £10k in 2007...guess times have changed since then though :)

Wasn't worth that to me at the time (still not sure it is) and I was persuing other domains - on reflection perhaps a bad move but c'est la vie.
