I wonder if the owner really will sell it? :D

I'd love to see domcollect say it wasn't them that listed it for sale, haha

Someone on here collects PC/laptop names don't they? Bet it would look nice in their portfolio ;)

I bet they will have the balls to say it actually if only a low end bid (which I doubt ofcourse)

    What a cool name

Scott used to own netbooks.co.uk and notebooks.co.uk but sold them both to dom collect. Was just about to check if they owned laptops.co.uk as well but have already used my 1000 lookups for today :(

My spirit guide is telling me laptop .co.uk isn't going to reach it's reserve.

    You heard it here first!

I doubt it... That would be Scott but he also has pcs.co.uk, tvs.co.uk, pcgames.co.uk in the same Sedo auction (and has since sold notebooks.co.uk and netbooks.co.uk) so I assume he wants to pursue a different avenue. Unless I am out of the loop and he has already sold these on since he aquired them, although the whois doesn't reflect this?

    Rich

I went after quite a few pc related names and managed to buy/sell netbooks & notebooks but having a lot of fun in a different focus just now. Think the reserve on laptop.co.uk is a bit optimistic.

Bottom end is ok at around 80k for someone who will actually dev it out in full.

I reckon 50k on this is a realistic sum and should get that type of bid.

It's a quality name, perhaps a company like laptopsdirect might buy it. Mind you if they have a few then why not sell them as a package?

Yes, you would think so. I take it it's like ebay and everything happens in the last minute because it's still unchanged and now has just 16 mins to go.

Blimey... I'm surprised it didn't attract anything better than that.

is it because people dont trust sales on sedo now as buyers have to chase sedo and isnt worth the hassle? and its 50/50 chance sellers wont sell anyway.
