So, you hate Putin more than anyone else? So what you're saying is that you prefer the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and lots of other countries that have the death penalty for homosexual acts? Or do you not hate them as much because (without googling them) you don't know their names?

Be careful what you wish for.... and this is just a fraction of what's out there.

BTW, I'm sure that Trump isn't much different. The truth is that whoever is put in front of us to decide should be our ruler, is having their strings pulled by the same people. They are only there to create the illusion of choice.

In the nearly 40 years the company I work for has existed, the x rate with the dollar has been as low as parity, and over $2 per £. It's an import-export business.

This isn't the end of the world.

Now is actually quite a good time to buy a laptop, especially high spec. With the pascal graphics around the corner and the likely newer generation of skylake, GTX 980s for example are well under half price, skylakes are down about 25%.

Just a shame I'm waiting for pascal :/

Perhaps I should have said: 'One of the few people I hate more than Farage'

Putin is the one that came to mind, probably because of the post I quoted, and nope I couldn't name the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, or any other non-western leader, neither could I tell you much about the laws in there country!

In fact I couldn't tell you who the leader of most of the world is! I know Obama, Putin, Cameron, Merkel (probably not spelt right) that's about it. They only really come to mind because of recent news reports.

But that doesn't mean I can't share my opinion, just like it doesn't mean you can't, if that was the case there wouldn't be democracy!

But I think you've just got to the point where you trolling now :/ So I will re iterate my previous point!!

I don't care what you personal views are, that's your choice, but I draw the line at persecution! This includes Murder, imprisonment, and beatings!

Just to be clear. I have absolutely no issue with anybody from any sexuality, gender, faith, country, colour or opinion group. I draw the line at violence and persecution!

    George Osborne
and the Wall Street banking giants which helped bankroll the Remain campaign yesterday issued a resounding vote of confidence in the City of London.

In a joint statement with the Chancellor, investment banks including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan pledged to ensure the City of London remains the world’s dominant financial centre when it leaves the EU.

The firms said that while‘ Brexit clearly presents economic challenges’, they would strive to ensure Britain ‘remains one of the most attractive places in the world to do business’

That's the point I'm trying to get across in most of my posts, the mainstream media only give us negative reports from certain countries...sometimes they are downright lies.
BTW, I don't know who the leaders are of those countries either.

Nor do I, and everyone's opinion matters in any decent society.

I completely agree, the mainstream media does only show negative reports from certain countries, the mainstream media generally only reports on negative stories in general, I rarely see anything in the media that could be classed as positive, with the exception of local press.

I think the issue is more the way your wording things, and less what your saying in particular, everything has an air of 'attack' about it, it's like it doesn't seem to matter what other peoples opinions are, that's the way it's coming across, it's hard to figure out where your opinion lies, some post's seem pro-brexit, and others anit-brexit. But the commonality is disagreement with anything anybody say's, from whatever side they are on.

The more I think of it, the more wrong it feels that our next Prime Minister at a vitally important time as this is going to be chosen by a mere 100,000 or so Conservative members, mostly over 60, mostly to the right of their party, overwhelmingly middle class, the majority from London and South East England.

I imagine Angela Loathsome will appeal strongly to this demographic. Reading bits of her blog, she seems to be the human embodiment of the home counties, Daily Mail "won't anyone think of the children?"

Her unsettlingly smiley soothing demeanour is actually starting to disturb me a little, in the sense that I'm finding myself wondering what it's designed to conceal. My fear is that she's going to be like the Aunt or the Stepmother in a Roald Dahl book - all smiles and flattery until the door closes, at which point she beats morality into the kids. Not that I'm suggesting she beats kids, but you know what I mean. The more I read of her views, the more disconnect there seems to be between this and her public cheery warmth.

Andrea Leadsom (if you believe her - big IF!) would activate Article 50 immediately, based on nothing but optimism that the UK could do fantastic deals. She still thinks that there can be both free trade and restrictions on movement, something that every single EU counterpart has stressed again and again is impossible.

There's no "good path" any more, but Theresa May is infinitely preferrable to her brand of kooky, happy-clappy nothingness.

The comparison's inexact, but of the 5 original candidates she's by far the most Trump-like.

I expect the rules were in place when the government was elected by the people. It's called democracy. I must say though I was never comfortable with Brown, so I see to some degree where you are coming from.

Well, that's fair enough because I don't know how people perceive of me, and I realise I'm not the most eloquent when it comes to writing down what I think.

I'm definitely pro-brexit...100%. I have an idea of how the world runs behind the scenes which is largely contradictory to how it is presented by governments and mainstream media. Because of that it might seem that I'm always disagreeing, which I suppose I am, but because I believe the 'system' is pretty much the opposite of how it is presented, therefore lots of the details within in are contradictory to how I see it.
The key for me was when all the dots joined up, only then it made sense - until then it was confusing as hell.

According to the National Police Chiefs' Council figures

More than 3,000 hate crimes and incidents were reported to police from 16-30 June this year, a 42% increase on the same period in 2015

I'm not posting that to make any particular referendum point, and I don't doubt for a second that you would agree with me that such developments are deplorable. I only mention it to counter your insinuation that the sharp rise is some kind of fabrication by the mainstream media.

To be honest I'm not keen on any new Prime Ministers being foisted on the country - Tory or Labour - without at the very least an early general election. The reason is that their prospectus, competence and style can vary quite radically from their immediate predecessor. I realise that in our democracy we elect MP's rather than Prime Ministers, but it would be silly to deny the pivotal role that a PM plays in shaping the decisions of a government. (In my experience manifestos can be taken with a large bag of salt.)

Yes, I can appreciate that. I think if comrade Corbyn remains the Tories should call a snap election which could result in a landslide. We need a strong government now to steer us through the next few years. Strange if Angela Eagle became labour leader. All girls.
