I have a buyer for a domain I own, it’s a nice price but buyer wanting to use Transpact. They’re setting it up, but I’ve never used Transpact. Anybody have some experience with them?

Thanks! I had a quick look at reviews on Google and they’re not that great, so just wanted some honest feedback from people who have used them.

I have never had an issue with them, not used recently though.

I have used Transpact many times, would certainly recommend it for domain sales and other transactions. Poor feedback may be down to the fact that parties have to create and agree terms which takes some time and effort. In my view, this is a big plus over terms dictated by other escrow providers

Use Transpact regularly for domain sales. Support is first class too. Just ensure the terms are clear for both parties and you will have no problems.

Used them with no problems. I usually find out what TAG they want the domain sending to, and include in the contract that my part is complete when the domain has been added to that TAG. That way there's a clear, publicly checkable record that the contract has been fulfilled in case of dispute.

@stitchbob, would you mind looking over the T&C's the buyer has outlined in PM with me?

I've used Transpact in the past without issue. However I wish they'd update the copyright date from 2010 to the current date on their website as it makes it look like it's a potentially obsolete site which isn't great for peace of mind for a buyer when transferring large sums of cash through them.

Yes, used. Like all escrow solutions, it's a bit of a hassle, but Transpact works well enough and is good value.

Transpact works and can be trusted despite the lack of trust you'll feel from viewing the site design and 2010 copyright, it looks like a site a 12-year-old built in 1994!

Late for advice but I just wanted to give transpact a thumbs up

I used them for the first time this week and it went smoothly, fees are very low, very good.
