Okay, I like the fact that you can see each name, but I think I have just nuked the 'Recent Threads' section, so maybe each user should simply have one post where they list all their names. Maybe that was what was intended and if so I apologise to everyone whose posts were listed on Recent Threads

Yes, I call that 'flooding'. So either put a bunch in a single thread OR if you do want the single thread per domain benefits then just stagger the listings a bit to save the recent thread flood...thanks for picking up on it without me having to mention it!

Can’t you just remove that section from Recent Threads?

Am I dreaming or did we used to have a swaps section some time ago?

Great idea re swaps. I think this period from start of .uk to RoR and the current flood is about as close to the mythical [i wasn't there, noughties domainer myself] days of 1990's domaining as we'll see unless Nominet have a .gb launch which I think they will at some point.

    from google

    "
    United Kingdom

. gb is a reserved Internet country code top-level domain (ccTLD) of the United Kingdom. The domain was introduced with RFC 920 in October 1984 that set out the creation of ccTLD generally using country codes derived from the corresponding two-letter code in the ISO 3166-1 list"

With Brexit and Britain going it alone the future brings uncertainty and with that comes opportunity. The rate of accumulation of these domains has gotta be high at this time. Certainly feels that way. Once that phase dies down be nice to do some straight swaps. We're better off with what inspires us rather than just what we think might be valuable.

can't see .gb working in any shape or form. ,Scot might be worth a punt though...... brexit will absolutely see an independance push that will get through unfortunately.

I think since Nominet have already gone for a welsh option there's a possibility they might consider one for England if they want a new stream of revenue. Scotland and Wales already have namespace - why not England? I'm not advocating that myself, but I could see them presenting the "If Wales and Scotland, why not England" excuse for new registrations.

Wasnt advocating for .gb. But after the swelling of coffers nominet have enjoyed as a result if .uk and business mantra there must always be growth its a possibilty.

Back to my point about the 90s. Id imagine it was the same. Lots of doubt and naysaying and domain names now worth a lot of money going for price of a pint. Thats very similar to .uk right now.

I do agree with you, I find it odd that nnn.com sells for at least 2x the value of lll.com but in .co.uk has little value at all, I do think its bubble like.
