I would let you donate £500 to NHS and then you need to sit down in a dark room and have a word with yourself for registering this.
Very bad taste. I will hold my hands up - I registered "theflu.co.uk" a few weeks ago before all this kicked off, and immediately regretted it as the severity of all of this began to sink in, so I'm looking for a way to sell that - with payment not going to me, but going to an NHS registered charity - as way of redemption! My old market making/banking instincts just kicked in, and I had to give myself a reality check/morality check...
I think the only valid use for a domain like this is to help provide information or raise money/resources for the people in countless communities in Zimbabwe. My daughter works in a slum district of a Ugandan town, coping daily with malnourished children and she sends me weekly reports of pitiful deprivation and death, abandoned children, meagre healthcare. (She works in an ad hoc children's centre for kids at the bottom of the social pile.) Although the virus hasn't really broken in force on Uganda (and maybe not Zimbabwe either) it almost certainly will, and the frail, the malnourished, the elderly will be so, so vulnerable. Common humanity says have mercy. Let's hope this domain can be put to good use.
