I recently formed a UK LTD and I am trying to figure out which insurance I need. The company is just me and I work from home, no office or staff. The business is affiliate marketing and domain sales. So far I figured I need Professional indemnity insurance, which other types of insurance would you advise? Thanks.
Technically you don't need any insurance; and for your type of business, would question why you would. You don't need public liability, or stock in hand etc.
Its hard to say what you'd need when you don't have all the info ? Plenty of affiliate marketers do face to face especially startups and new clients meets (loads of gumf why it's good for your business). How/where you meet may need Public liability. Public liability is tailored for claims by members of the public for injury, illness , damage etc. Professional indemnity covers claims by clients for professional mistakes or negligence etc. Possibly policies for theft, fire etc that may not be covered in standard "Home Insurance" when running a business from home ditto if you use a "Company vehicle" to drive any passengers family, friends, clients etc I'd look at these as a starter
