Not sure if you heard my question on member engagement Alex, but with the response to that and some of Rennie's comments in her preamble, I'd suggest they are trying to communicate that they accept it is an issue.

There are 2,286 members according to this page:
    http://www.nominet.org.uk/whoweare/structure/members/list-members

That's around 2.5% attendance on those numbers.

There's facility to post a question in the Q&A sessions, Martin's was read out by a staff member sitting on the other end of the web conference system.

You don't have the facility to throw eggs or shout rude comments though :)

Oscar is doing enough of that for everyone I should think.. An AGM is the appropriate place to raise these concerns I guess, but you have to wonder how and when it'll be possible to draw a line under that whole saga.

Yes. I put your point about .co.uk drops after 10th June 2014 not retaining the right to the matching .uk to Nick Wenben-Smith (head of legal), the CEO, two other NED's and another member of Nominet staff. I suggested they held the .uk for a short period of time under this circumstance to allow the new .co.uk registrant to register it. I've no idea if they will do this but hopefully the problem is under consideration. :)

If you'd both come along you could be in Nando's with Andrew Bennett and me, now. That experience would surely have been worth it in itself!

I managed to speak to a few people I wanted to meet about other miscellaneous issues and definitely feel pleased that I attended. Was much more relaxed that last years AGM.
