Anyone reged any good casino domains with the pending relaxing of laws in the UK?

I have been trying to think of generics without success. The established casinos use very generic names 888 etc - do you specific names like londoncasino etc are worth getting?

but is it names like casinoresort that are going to be valuable?

there are a lot of gambling domains, location+casino, available and a lot of money is about to come pouring in - difficult choice for a domain buyer - its going to be luck if one of the big US companies want your domains

    I have
    kensingtoncasino and
    sohocasino
plus a number of more generic domains - just a gamble on my part :D

What type of names work for casinos?

the current casinos all use unrelated names like cesars, 888 etc, do you think there will be a market for search engine names like

    ukcasino
    bristolcasino
    etc

does anyone have any experience or advice about making my domains a portal for casinos? - i see you get good money for getting users to register?

    Hi all

    My first post :D

    Ive got
    gogamble.co.uk
    and
    readysteadybet.com

not sure about the .com but i think gogamble has some mileage.
have emailed MGM and a few others as I know some of these big boys are planning 'super casinos'

I use to look for 'brandable' names but with they way things are going I am shifting more towards 'keywords'

GoGamble.co.uk is a good brandable name, did you get much response from contacting the big players?

We are always interested to hear what marketing plans work best.

It easy enough to find a list of the applications for new UK casinos and run a search on the *city*casino.co.uk domains. About half of them are taken, the remaining ones are hardly exotic - anyone fancy bridgendcasino.co.uk ?

Existing casinos are dominated by Gala and Grosvenor. I would go for names like palacecasino.co.uk, harbourcasino.co.uk or europacasino.co.uk if they were available. There is scope for revenue from casino sites but it is a fiercely competitive market. I was approached by a company in Australia wanting use host one of my casino domains.

Trying to dream up names for the impending invasion of casinos in the UK is IMHO unlikely to achieve much of a return. I am sure that any domain names the operators intend to use will have been sorted already.
