Anybody else noticed weird stuff happening with this domain? Why was it sold and auctioned again? Why had it changed registrar tag lots in the last couple of days.

    Weird.

It didn't sell? The auction failed to hit reserve.

Indeed, it only reached £6,300 this time lol. Some very strange stuff going on with this domain.

My hunch is that companies weren't keen on the leads based on how they were attained, so it was hard to monetize the website as expected.

The leads would be very 'blackhat/grey area' as they were somewhat obtained in a deceitful way. (Kind of. Sort of.)

The links going into it attracted folk.

Those same links are totally irrelevant now and any “mega rankings” just won’t happen.

The expired domain market with links is a sinking ship

Just fire up ahrefs and look at the historic rankings / traffic and what the current site gets.

Agree, if a domain drops now its pretty much impossible to get the link power back ,this is from number of domains I have tried over the last 12 months. Best bet is to try and get the domain before it drop.
