Linking to potential buyers (websites) from the domain you want to sell to them. If they’re any good, they’ll be monitoring their logs on a monthly basis and will spot the link. Big companies do this as a matter of course to check stats but also for Brand Awareness, and to identify anyone linking to them in an offensive manner. I had a buyer who told me this was how he found the domain he purchased from me.
