On November 5–6, 2025, it.com Domains joined the NamesCon Global 2025 conference, held in Miami, Florida. Tess Diaz, Director of Channel Development, and Joe Alagna, Chief Strategy Officer, represented the company at the event.
This year’s NamesCon Global, themed ‘Unlock Tomorrow’, focused on how the domain-industry community is defining the future of the business; from the Next Round of ICANN’s (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) New gTLD (generic top-level domain) Program to tokenisation, Web3 and evolving digital assets.
Major areas of discussion included unlocking new value in the gTLD ecosystem; leveraging Web3 and tokenized domain assets; and building new partnerships across registries; registrars, brokers and infrastructure providers.
Tess Diaz participated as a speaker and moderator at the Fireside Chat with Anthos Chrysanthou (Founder and CEO of Sav.com), where participants discussed the role of AI (Artificial Intelligence) in the world of modern information technology and the domain industry.

Joe Alagna spoke at an event called Herding a Million Cats: What it Takes to Run a New gTLD, where he offered strategic insights on how registries and registrars can prepare for the next round of new gTLDs. He shared his years of experience, which he compiled for the audience in How to Get Your Own Top-Level Domain, a book he co-authored with Andrey Insarov, Founder and CEO of it.com Domains. The book provides a practical guide for entrepreneurs and organizations seeking to launch and manage their own TLDs, from application to long-term operation.

NamesCon is the premier meeting ground for the domain name and hosting industries today. We met with several of our top registrars to plan forward and strategize for 2026. With the 2026 round of new gTLDs just around the corner, it was an especially important meeting,
said Joe Alagna.
