    Yes, it's great news.

However, it won't stop his followers.

  6. I Don't think it is "great news", it's good that he's dead and it's a symbolic killing for all affected by Al-Qaeda attacks but it won't stop them, if anything this will bring more attacks.

I can understand the Americans joy at the death but showing footage across the world of Americans celebrating it is going to incite any Al-Qaeda followers the same way Americans get very angry at footage of Al-Qaeda followers burning American flags and chanting Bin Laden's name.

I beg to differ. One who takes life, either in person or in technical planning (i.e Sept. 11) should face the consequences penalty of death.

Your correct about the "it will not stop them" comment. It won't.

    All IMHO.

So basically what your saying Frank is that Kate and William got married flew off to a secret location which was the ex big brother house which is currently being used as a rehab centre, they hired Chuck Norris as a body guard and Henry Cooper as a security adviser, whispering Ted as spokesman,Imogen Thomas was working in the rehab centre as a receptionist,Kate hired Mariah Carey to sing at the party, they found Osama hiding in a cupboard, decided to have a mass orgy and film it on their iphone,Imngen got jealous of Osama banging Kate and got Chuck Norris to take care of him but Osama pulled out an AK47 and accidently killed whispering Ted and Henry Cooper then the US army came in and blew the place up !

    I get it now ;)

Glad they got him at last.

With my cynical hat on do find it strange that they went to the effort to recover the body only to bury it at sea. Also 10 years to finally capture/kill him seems a long time based on the resources available and that corruption is rife in Afghanistan and Pakistan and the huge sums of money which would have been available to bribe people into disclosing his location.

I did read in the papers over the weekend that the Royal honeymoon had been cancelled due to security concerns but dismissed it as tabloid hype, maybe the royals were prewarned of the operation.

Not sure whether to believe this. In an interview, Benazir Bhutto, former prime minister of Pakistan stated that Bin Laden had been murdered a few years ago, and then was assasinated herself shortly afterwards. But when the BBC aired the interview to the UK audience they censored that bit out. The unedited interview was shown to other countries though. Here are the censored and uncensored versions back to back:

could anyone tell me as to the correct time of suspension of said

bin laden , i was wondering was the drop date would and to ask if anyone had

any slots available , i would prefer not have to sell him on domainlore

as i can see great potential in developing him further in to the world class

escape goat arena , as both our country and america will now now left

patsy less , i can see great interest in the potential drop catch.

all through there has been rumors of interest from the kingdom of

Saudi Arabia in maybe a last minute plead to re register .

President of America " oh what a bummer " was reported to have said

i think its the best scam that Bush Snr Alan Greenspan and my good self have

thought of yet far better than Mrs Thatchers invasion of the Falklands

of course i think you will find it coincidental that fellow Buliderburg Group

member Mrs T and i were at our lowest point in the polls when we carried out

these operations , it has been reported that after his burial at sea

Mr Bin Laden he will promise to hide within Saudi Arabia with close family

    and not spill the beans

also congrats on the global "its looks like its gone correct" awardS after wining

the award previously for that blockbuster " weapons of mass destruction"

and other greats such as "Vietnam " " Kennedy "" lets bully some countries"

i do think that burying him at sea is a great one ,

What difference does it make which network commissioned the interview? She said what she said and it was shown across different networks in different countries anyway, with BBC airing it in Britain. The three most important points are that (1) a notable stateswoman said Bin Laden was already dead a few years ago, (2) she was murdered shortly afterwards and (3) the BBC censored it so the UK population was kept in the dark while the rest of the world saw the unedited version.
