Is there a set number of weeks/days after you reg a domain that the registration letter comes in the post?

Also, do they take the address listed on the domain at the time they send it, or the address provided at registration?

    Thanks,

    Jee

Not sure about the address but some domain names that were transferred from one party to another, and then tag-changed minutes after still had the prior tag holder referenced on the forms that came through the post a couple of weeks after.

In my experience it can take anywhere from 1 month to 6 months.
