Another one worded domain, with a lot of potential.

Could be used as a index of where to preorder certain products online.

Registered at 123-reg. Will simply push to another 123-reg account.

Will consider any bids.

So you come here and try to sell domains to people but dont even know how to transfer them, I suggest you stop being a know it all and read up on transfer of ownership, or are you out to shaft our forum members?

Of course I know.......but like I said, I don't think you have to go to Nominet and initiate their transfer process to push a domain to another 123-reg account, because it's not changing registrars, it's an internal process withi 123-reg.

When I say push to another 123-reg account this is exactly what I mean.

And no, I'm not here to "shaft" anyone as you so elequently put it. I'm a genuine and honest guy.

EDIT - It's free for it to be pushed to another 123-reg account:

You dont push .uk's like .com's when you sell them, the ISP is not relevant.

Have a read of http://www.nominet.org.uk/registrants/maintain/transfer/ . There is a cost of £10 + vat for changing registrant (and registrar) of a domain.

My question is who pays for that transfer :)

He doesnt have a tube of glue rob, (have a clue)

No mate, really....you can internally trade .co.uk domains with 123-reg for no fee. I've just done it with one of my domains.

It's an instant process as well. You just enter the 123-reg account username into the field....then that submits a request to the retrieving user, they accept and the domain is transferred. Easy as Pi.

what the feck are you talking about..........

:???:

Have you got a 123-reg.co.uk account?

They're one of the biggest .co.uk registrars on the web.

Basically you can internally transfer .co.uk domains between 123-reg accounts for free and instantly....it doesn't require the whole nominet transfer process.

It may put the name in their account but the legal ownership is not transferred, to do that you need to send forms to Nominet. the push on its own is not enough.

Did you even bother to read what has been written , let alone follow the links provided?!

IT COSTS MONEY TO TRANSFER .UK NAMES.

You wonder why people on here get p**sed off when new users appear, spam for 20 posts then post names for sale without having a clue.

This is an ideal example where abit of time spent learning about domains would save hassle down the line, rather than some poor sod buying a name then issues following later. Whoever you sold a domain to previously has control of the name, but you are still the legal registrant.

Cheers mate.

Thanks for not trying to come across as an arrogant tit.

Um no, I didn't know that the push wouldn't change the legal ownership.....but likewise you didn't have a clue it was possible to push .co.uk domains at all....so it's quite ironic how you just call me clueless.

With regards to your query, the seller pays the nominet fee....like in most domain transfers. That's like the shipping cost.

I think I'll stay.

Is this the way you treat all new users....try and insult them all because they're not in your little gang....your little band of users who act like they know better than everyone else and try to put anyone down at any opportunity.

Jog on.

I guess that makes me the 'arrogant tit'.

Lets review:

You replied Course I do...

Yeah I didnt have a clue, you got me! You taught me all about 123-reg :) I have never bought and sold a name before from someone there, or thinking the same thing as you did either.

Perhaps I ought to get fed up with explaining it and write a guide about it, something like http://hey.co.uk/domains/domain-services/.uk_domain_name_transfer_guide.html would be good. Oh... wait.

Hooray! :)
