I had google ads on a site about 18 months ago but was booted off for abuse.

My ISP and my MAC code have changed since then but I still have the same address, bank details and gmail account.

I've now learnt my lesson but is the ban for ever or am I likely to be accepted if I reapply?

In a word No, in 2 words Hell No, in 3 words Oh Google No, I could go on :)

You do have one attempt for appeal but you need a damned good story and reasons and once you lose your toat forever.

They didn't give me that one chance of appeal, they just said "NO" so I didn't bother anymore. not much point to appeal as if the abuse was done by you and not caused by a third party. meaning no chance at all

Rubbish.

Oh well, from what I'm reading the PPC thing is slowing down anyway so will have to look at other options.

Thanks for the responses

ppc is now 4 years out of date and lame... unless you are in the know or live 24/7 365 online to watch everyone else nicking your ads!

... dw1973 is spot on > look and work on other dev ways to get your business... ppc is on the way out 8)

Not so sure to be honest, needs a bit of tweaking I grant you but I do very well from it.

What I will say is that I don't like the idea of some of my good sites getting paid the same ppc rate as a guy who has a parking page.

They should link rates to the PR ranking, I think that would help advertisers and web owners.

My understanding is that you can have more than one account if the additional account(s) are for separate legal entities. For example you could have have two limited companies run by yourself, each with a separate account. Downside is that you then have all the paperwork that goes with running limited companies.

better than adsense

google killed adsense when they introduced the dual bid system for advertisers

this means that even if advertisers have to pay 2 dollars a click for top position on google search results page the advertiser can specify 2 cents per click for the general advertising network - i.e. our publisher sites

I'd be happy with even a tenth i.e. 2 dollars a click on google, then 20 cents on a publishers site

having virtually no minimum bid for publishers sites is not right - but adsense publishers put up with crumbs as there is nothing much else they can do to make decent money from their sites - unless you have a CMS site such as wordpress, drupal, etc. - if you do, and have an alexa ranking of 2 million or lower, then I can help - PM me
