Has anyone found any alternatives to adwords that work.

I have tried yahoo, msn, facebook, yell but either get very little traffic or if they do (yahoo) I get very few apps for my spend?

Thats a very very niche kinda deal isnt it.

I'd be looking at a mail drop, find potentially eligible customers, and get the local yellow pages or uk info disk, start sending letters, nice quality paper and envelopes.

Mohamed and the Mountain, I expect many of the people who may need this probably don't know they need this.

Also visit the local chamber of commerce breakfast clubs and meeting, goto the businesses :)

I've also used searchfeed.com before. Very cheap, but the conversion rate was almost zero over a two year campaign. Gets the site out there on loads of directories though, and they stay there for a few months after campaign ends. I'm sure most of the clicks I got were click fraud so I only spent about 20 dollars a month just to get the listings. I was only paying 0.01 per click so not too worried about the click fraud. The plus side to this was I was also using searchfeed advertising on some sites of mine, and the rev generated can be transferred to your ad spend, so in essence it was free advertising for me.

Does adwords really has any genuine alternative. I really like it because it is pretty friendly and i have not faced any problem in the past few months.

Yes AdWords has an alternative, can you use it ? No!

The alternative that seems to demand the pennies is Yahoo, but you need 100s of thousands of page views before they look at you. Even if you have double their minimum traffic they still take their sweet time in answering you.

I guess anything under 10m PVs and no there is no alternative, with the same yield.

Since AdBrite introduced CPC banners, and I manually vet ALL adverts on my sites (unless they are high paying CPM), I've noticed a large surge in revenues, so they are getting better :)
