Can it be true? Well it is possible!

I am going to be offering a prime three letter .co.uk domain by reverse auction starting tomorrow morning at 9am

The auction will run for a maximum of three days between the hours of 9am and 9pm. Starting no earlier than 9am Friday morning and ending no later than 9pm on Sunday evening.

An offer to buy the name will only be accepted between the hours of 9am and 9pm. Offers made outside of this time frame will be ignored.

The clock stops running at 9pm and starts running again at 9am the following day.

The starting price will be £2160

The price will then drop by £1 per minute.

Meaning that as every hour goes past the name becomes £60 cheaper.

As 12 hours pass the name becomes £720 cheaper.

The first person to post SOLD in the thread wins the name/auction.

How long you can wait to post SOLD is up to you.

If you can wait for 35 hours and 59 minutes, providing you are the first to post SOLD in the thread you could get the name for ONE POUND! Somebody could get a serious bargain here!

You must post SOLD in the thread to claim the name.

At this point the starting price of £2160 minus the number of minutes passed will be the price you pay.

The time on your post will determine the amount of minutes/pounds to deduct from the start price.

I will anounce the name in a new thread at around 8am acorn time tomorrow.

My last two 3 letter sold domains (smd .co.uk and rmb .co.uk) sold for £4,000 each so a starting price of 2kish sounds great

Love the idea. But we don't get to know what the domain is before hand?
I think the idea will work better if you do the maths and give us regular updates what the price is currently.
