Sell/Develop? - I dont know but given I really want to sell all of my names I thought I'd ask.

What do you think its worth as I'm interested in the whole health thing and this was one I was going to develop or JV??

It's too general to be of interest to domainers or internet marketers and is therefore a low value domain. Sorry.

Thanks for this but I disagree; with 278 gazillion returns on google for health and almost 9 million specifically for "our health" I tend to think this could be a brand just waiting to happen.

Anyway I'm too wrapped up in eco projects I was just trying to find a value to an end user or domainer.

OK, so how much do you feel you could sell the domain for?

The number of search results isn't really an indicator for domain value, there are other better indicators such as PPC rates.

Cheers

My take on domains probably flies in the face of the "domainers view" outside of generics which are a given, I think search results are a great indicator. I buy names I feel could be branded and cover a whole market niche, however my search results theory falls down in the case of yoostar.co.uk xx,xxx.

If I started to approach the big co's in the health and beauty market I know I could get a good price for OurHealth.co.uk, but I've just not got the time and I was asking the experienced domainers on here what is the probable end-user price on this?

I'd agree with accelerator, I wouldn't reg it if it was free mate.

Yourhealth.co.uk is much better and I wouldn't even check if it was available because I don't think it has much value in it either.

Of course there is value in everything if you find the end user who wants it, but that's impossible to know.

By the way we are talking about the name, if you develop it and spend time on it, then of course it will be worth much more.

OK, so you have a brandability strategy, that is fair enough. There is always the remote possibility of a big sale on a domain if a counterparty wants that specific domain enough. However, if it's not the prime generic, i.e. health.co.uk, which has proven advertising potential, there are never any cast-iron reasons for a counterparty to want it, and the probable end-user price at a given point in time is low. I would be the first one to congratulate you on a big sale for this domain, but your strategy is going to mean sitting on domains for a long time until that offer comes in.

Just to point out even though there are many pages returned on google with the term "Our Health" in, exact type-ins are:

[our health]
Approx Search Volume: March:
Not enough data
Approx Avg Search Volume:
210

yourhealth hmm 'might bme but that implies soemone else, ourhealth is more holistic and personal it draws in the reader and that's how I see this one as an online health mag or portal.

However on your free comment; your having a giraffe greywing - youve obviously been spending too much time looking into the light!!

I'll stick up a page, a logo and get xxxx for it easy, when and if ever I get some time :) .
