Excuse me, but how are you supposed to update a running auction price or higher offer if you don't allow updates? Imagine how long it would have taken for people on here to find out the current price of kitchenappliances if I was unable to update at every offer, just had another offer in on the domain but who on here can find out now, until tomorrow? some sales forum...

And now it's been locked, why? what rule was broken exactly?

OK, so how are people supposed to know the original post has been updated? telepathy? instinct?

    Thanks

What's the domain appraisals thread got to do with the offers forum thread? aint the rule per forum and as I understood it, i accidentally put two threads in the appraisal section so why not just merge the two appraisal threads, why do anything with the sales offer thread?

Also and I'm having difficult understanding, how do users of this forum find out the current price of a domain and be alerted to such if they can't be notified in any way or only 12 hours after the fact?

The downside to that is I don't get any email notifications to the thread I'm subscribed to.

I did check to see if there was a vbulletin add on for updated edit posts to show in new posts or another section but couldn't find one. That's why updating posts is the only viable way to let people know current offer or change of price, unfortunately for some, some wish to sell and buy quickly and waiting 12 / 24 hours get in the way, although probably gone past the limit with most on here anyway but people do like the ferver.

I need to renew my 'exclusive' membership here - will get round to it over the w/e. If I was running the show I'd allow some sensible bumping of threads, but only in the exclusive section. This site has to make a little money...

Who knows, there may be someone really interested in this name but will never get to see it unless they register and log on. ;)
