But this just pushes me more towards living and been self sustaining - Wind Turbines, Solar Slates, Anaerobic Digesters and other green energy generators should be advertised, more afforable and available.

I wonder what year it will be when all energy companies supplying energy to homes, factories and offices will be 100% Green and renewable? Will we all be dead by then? 2030 2050 2100 never?..............

Or will they all go bust because houses and businesses generate their own energy?!

 

I drove down the M77 to the south of Glasgow on Sunday and couldn't believe the number of wind turbines there were now. It's Europe's largest onshore wind farm with approximately 140 turbines.

It was like something out of "War of the Worlds".

 

i love the look of these things, the ones in the middle of the sea at caister are amazing. definatley somthing out of war of the worlds.

 

It's all the do gooders that say it blots the sky/landscapes that prob stops a lot more been put through planning.

Hope things change faster and sooner than they are doing!

They have been saying this just about every year since the 1970's

I think we will be fine as more nuke power stations get built and come online. If they are not ready in time, we will be buying it from our French friends until we do have the capacity.

Anyways, nothing wrong with the odd blackout. I tend to get one every weekend after my 5th beer.
