Most companies that develop programs/applications do so under there own trademark or umbrella so you would need to find a company that wants to drive people in through the keyword and not there own trademark? Could be a while before its ever worth more than reg fee and really only then if decent 3d apps become widely available, popular and not marketed under a brand name etc that’s quite a lot of ifs… Your best place to start to market it would be software fairs etc

Yes, a great many ifs in this whole area, but as far as leaps of faith go, there are probably worse trends to back. It's one that's worth sitting on for a while I think. It might take a couple of years before there's a firm idea of whether this may be worth something or not.

It's not bad, I just think that the 3D market is going to grow and grow, and as a result whatever you might get for it right now, may well be dwarfed by what you can get in future.

There is a difference between a singular keyword goods or services and using letters numbers and abbreviations…?

If no ones using the term to search then selling it no matter how good it is unless its brandable etc is going to be hard.

Personally if there is a demand for three dimensional applications not being sold under a trademarked, branded or existing company umbrella then as I said software fairs new start up business would be were I would start to look for a buyer.

btw “threedimensionalapplications” in all tld is available

about letters and numbers: 3D is 3D , like 3G ! Yes You can use three dimensional too.
btw: all using "3d and apps "and very rarely "three dimensional applications"
