Hi Karol, I see you're a 'domain specialist' - just wondering how long you've held that position, and how you came about being one?

Hello Brewsters,

I was starting that business 3 years ago, when I was buying domain for my first website. I was looking for good domain and then I realized that everyone can find the good domain available and make money ;-)

I'm surprised there are not more polish domainers on acorn. The domain event web sites always write about the huge polish turnout.

I wasn't purchase any polish domains yet, so I didn't make any money out of polish domains.

Re: general domain business - I was receiving offers I didn't accept, because I never have needs to sell it on till the price was right, at the moment I have to pay expensive penalty charge and I want to start selling them even then I know if I would keep some of them, like www.onlineshopcenter.co.uk, www.find-insurance.co.uk or insurancecovers.co.uk in future I could received the offers for £5k each domain

Nevertheless, I need pay the penalty so guys please help me...

Sorry Charles, but those names are not going to sell. For co.uk you need English spelling, such as 'centre', not Americano 'center'. 'InsuranceCover.co.uk = good, 'InsuranceCoverS'.co.uk = bad. And there are any number of names available to register with a hyphen '-'.

I don't understand why you haven't gone for names in your natural language?

Domaining isn't about registering some names then working out how to sell them - it's about finding the names that other people want to buy.

I've only checked one domain ownership before responding to this thread, and the "Center" (US) one was only registered just a few months back. Charles I wish you well but, domains like those will not sell. I see buydomains is offering the .com but the term may well fit the American Market, certainly not the UK one

I guesses in your opinion even www.cinemainlondon.co.uk is not valuable?

I think cinemainlondon.co.uk is the best of a bad bunch

I just looked up the exacts and it gets 1900 at 52p with medium competition, possibility for someone to make some money on it via adsense so perhaps it's worth £30 to someone

Still a bit difficult to monetise as most people looking for cinema listings I imagine will just go to odeon.co.uk or whatever the website is of the cinema they want to attend, and for London people they may just look in Time Out or the Evening Standard
