Well it seems prime media do not wish to confirm payment either. I going to assume that is due to the uncalled for comment made by Boxfish and not wishing to upset fellow members.

Well I have no such Qualms - due to that balls-up . my electric key will run out of emergency credit in about an hours time - no they won't cut me off until the morning about 7.00 am

Thanks a bunch

...unrelated but I need to ask; how will a PayPal payment stop that?

Don't you need to go to a local shop to top it up? PayPal won't transfer money immediately so how would your sale help you?

Just curious.

I don't mind you asking Khalid

I have a paypal Mastercard. Payment becomes available to me within seconds. which is why I'm always asking for payment by that method. The local shop that would have allowed me to top-up the electric closed at 10:45 anyway.

However it seems I must remember to put something like "ABSOLUTELY DESPERATE FOR CASH PAYMENT" to satisfy some members here.

I knew the domain would probably sell within the hour. I didn't offer it amongst the 50 or so domains I offered Saturday I was hoping one of those that I did would sell. But tonight became a little bit more desperate.

We all have our little bit of pride. I'd rather people thought I wanted a few quid for a beer than needed the heating on

Whatever people think I'm not going to be dictated to. As I mentioned before I've got plenty of domains I can fire-off. Sues life insurance will give me £50,000. But I'll probably drink most of it if it was in the bank.

As an add-on i'm not going to complete the sale with Majoco. posting sold, then diving-off was not in the terms or spirit that I was offering. If he makes payment tomorrow i'll send it back. I will PM to that effect

from now on I will find another outlet for my domains - one where I can feel comfortable and not have a debate about what was and wasn't intended.

Domains for me have become a means to an end, nothing more. My Sues inquest is now scheduled for March the 19th and I've probably become a little bit off-the-wall at times. The attendance list reads like a who's who of Southend Hospital. That's the trouble when things drag-on for this long (over 6 years) you get to live them every day.

I'm not making excuses because I think i'm pretty honourable - I won't comment further on others

I'm sorry to hear of your loss and current situation.

I had a look at your domains on Sat and I'm in the market so AD is a reasonable place to find and sell names. The market is just stale right now.

If you are in need of the money I wouldn't cut your nose to spite your face and reject Mojocco's offer. When I saw the thread I didnt specifically think the cash was needed now so perhaps he did the same.

Good luck with your wife's inquest too.

Or maybe it's because it's a Sunday night and they're not glued to their computer.

I'm sorry it's my fault you don't have any electricity. Maybe if you started laying the blame closer to home you would.

Bailey,

It seems I misunderstood your meaning of "fast".

As it was 8.30pm Sunday evening I assumed that payment first thing Monday morning would have been acceptable as being fast enough.

Apologies if any inconvenience was caused.

My offer still stands, no hard feelings if it is declined.

Sincere advice in this one.

Hi Bailey, Is the domain still for sale? if so I'll buy it, very fair price. I'll pay immediatley if still available. Cheers Mally

Guys - what can I say.

Thank so much for the PM's and gestures, I'm going to put a thank you together, without embarrassing anyone, and post it here on Acorn. that's when I get the tears out of my eyes.

I know I use Acorn as a social crutch sometimes. but, here I really do feel at home (yep this morning I was swearing I would stay off Acorn for a while) I do apologise for those that rightly think - hey, we've got facebook for this kind of sentiment But, I don't care.

Sorry Mally domains already on it's way
