Have you attempted End Users ?

I would have thought IWoot, PressyBox, etc (which are already on the site) would be prime buyer, they always do a massive push each year for the Under £10, Under £20 workplace gifts. I would attempt to hit each of these affiliate managers, rather than trying to cold call these people, affiliate managers are already there, accessible and know the game.

Hi All,

I am looking to sell my wesite SecretSanta .co .uk and was wondering if there is any good websites that specialise in selling UK websites that anyone could recommend.

Post it on Flippa with stats and proof of earnings. List it for sale on here but refer all enquiries to the Flippa listing. Ignore all the please pm me details requests.

If you have a 'realistic' reserve price it will sell.

Flippa is hit and miss at best especially with the UK market, lots of people wanting everything for nothing, places like this have people that have budgets, are willing to spend that may not want to use flippa.

If you do go down the flippa route though you should make sure you DO direct everyone to that listing and complete the sale through flippa because if you sell outside of flippa they will still invoice you a success fee anyway once the domain Who-is details change ( as they assume it sold because of their listing ) . Yeah shady as hell if your sale genuinely came from somewhere else, if you kick up a stink they back down but obviously their success fee's on xx,xxx ranges start to be a considerable sum and its not worth the extra bother.

Id also recommend paying the extra to have the listing hidden from search engines, many high value buyers wont touch a site if its been sold in a public space for the world to see.

Consider carefully before submitting somewhere like flippa, you know how much you want for it, so put the feelers out before taking the plunge into public listings.

Where you running the auction? Here or Sedo as previously mentioned?

Sean - contact Flippa and see if you can get the auction there cancelled.

Admin should ban the seller from AD.
