Hi Guys,

Is there any affiliate here who is a Twitter GOD ?

Am about to launch a project which has 2 parts to the business
Don't want to go into too much detail here.

I am looking for a social media GOD who would be interested either in
coming on board with me and my current business partner in exchange for a share of the business or for a monthly fee to handle the social media

The person I'm looking for is not just your normal Twitter / FB user
The ideal person will know Twitter inside out, how to gain new worthwhile followers quickly and also produce Tweets that engage the followers & ultimately convert

If anyone is interested please get in touch

Growing an audience isn't rocket science.

Post interesting updates regularly and pay to promote them. That's about all the formula you need - there isn't any secret to it.

The difficult part is in creating a consistent stream of interesting updates.

Going big on producing evergreen epic content helps with your half. The sort of stuff that Brian Dean talks about. Involve influencers in what you do to help get the message amplified. http://backlinko.com/

Running competitions with impressive prizes helps a lot too.

The other half is about curating and sharing other people's relevant stuff. Spot influencers and popular content using http://buzzsumo.com/

Then use something like http://meetedgar.com/ to schedule up 101 updates well into the future to keep your queue well populated.

Hi Martin

thanks for advice :)

However I have a very short attention span and cant focus on mundane things for too long.
This is why I'd prefer to have someone on board taking care of this stuff.

Its a cracking project that will do well.

Also I have way to much coding to be done as after the main site is live I still have another 20+ domains I need to get live which will all come under the project too
Not to mention my new additions DealsForMums.co.uk & DealsForDads.co.uk

There is just not enough hours in my day :(

I would have a chat with Gary from tmwi.co.uk

Try narrowing your focus a bit - one site making money is better than 20 half finished projects

You're wasting your time worrying about them, social media is dead - like apps are dying too, twitter is slowly dying (yeah I know here we go, I'm a chump how can I say such things) and fb is well.. you know..

If what your creating is truly an innovation and any good functionally you don't need to worry about these things.

Interested in why you would say this is the case?

@murph well, some very specific apps might be useful but with html5 and the power of modern browsers now I can't seen any need to create 'apps' for many solutions, of course for many corps we all need to 'keep believing' in our precious little app downloads are important and necessary and the way to go ;)

@alien

I don't have any empirical evidence to support this claim but its just years of instinct based on working in very high end mobile industry for large corps. The monetize of twitter is near impossible to any real extent based on the whole mobile (smartphone) model, 140chrs, screensize - what you do with that? users hate ads in mobiles. I actually think whole mobile advertising is dead - tablet is better but mobile dead. Also twitter has many serious problems looming with hashtag usage but I save that rant for later in month :p BTW, I actually *like* twitter concept and its use.

Apps are dead... I think more and more apps are becoming websites inside browser shell app, so an app really isn't needed as they could give their address but they are caught up in app fever.

I'm not sure apps are dead per se, but lots of small and medium businesses need to realise they don't an app so this niche maybe dying a death and rightly so.

Agreed, There has just been an "app" alternative to tapatalk released by an addon developer for xenforo which is essentially a xenforo responsive design inside a wrapper, exactly the same as if people were to visit the forum via a browser.

The only difference is it costs the forum owner $300 to create the app's/wrapper, although they can then have another form of revenue in terms of charging users for the app.

For users it offers nothing more than an icon on their phone for an app, but a homescreen icon can be placed to a website so they get no real benefit at all.

All seems like a desperate dash to gain another form of revenue before people realise its a responsive theme in a wrapper.
