Yep, not your problem. If they genuinely didn't receive renewal notices etc, then they need to take it up with Nominet. Nominet may potentially force you to hand over the name if they were at fault, but you shouldn't incur any costs. Even if you did, you'd be within your rights to claim...

Keep arguing Redkite.. maybe you'll eventually convince everyone here that all of your domains are worth what you think they are. Ok, so you've sold domains previously, and I applaud you for that. However, you're speaking to a bunch of resellers here, and most of the domains you've mentioned...

Ok, still looking to move these on.. I'm surprised at the lack of interest given the search volumes for these phrases. Total 156,000 broad and 15,680 exact for all 7 phrases, and there doesn't appear to be very much competition. Obviously some get more searches than others. BIN now £250...

Indeed, I can't imagine many here would have valued it at anywhere near 5 figures. I certainly wouldn't have done, so maybe I need to change my attitude too :cool:

Been thinking about this some more (dangerous I know), and it's hard to see how obvious ones such as breakdown.tel or loans.tel wouldn't have any value. Still difficult to envisage how they would add much value to an existing business, but I suppose it's possible that the way the .tel system...

Try both.. and see which works best for you and your domains. Very dependent on the subject matter, and how focussed you plan to be ie. it's easy to blog about 'gadgets', but not so easy to blog about 'foot massagers'.

Same, I caved today and got my surname just in case. Should have a better idea in 12 months of whether it's worth keeping or not. Really can't see any speculation/investment potential here.. possibly the more popular surnames and *big* keywords if it does take off. But you'll likely never...
