Just so everyone is clear.
I attempted to buy 2 names off this guy via Sedo (mobilegalaxy.co.uk and wii-fittness.co.uk)

Won the auctions in good faith, paid within 24 hours and never heard a dickie bird. Finally got some Nominet forms through, weeks after payment made but by then I had initiated a chargeback via Paypal.

Waste of time!

Let me make something clear
I sent the paperwork to Sedo promptly for those transactions,Sedo were responsible for the amount of time the transactions were taking. It was unfortunate that the transactions were over the xmas period which probally did not help the situation.I have purchased and sold on this site with several people and all has gone well and swiftly.
Banned,I am sorry that you feel the need to interfere in an unpleasant way in a thread, but as you do,maybe you should be clear about what actually happened, rather than assuming that it was me delatying the paperwork.Oh and for the record,I am not a guy!

I'm sorry that you're unhappy with my response but I am stating the facts as I get them.
Furthermore I discussed the issue in a thread here and even liaised with Shaun who is a Sedo employee.

He looked into the issue and pointed out that he would need to give the seller (i.e. you ships) a nudge to get the paperwork sorted. When that didn't happen I raised a Paypal dispute and bish bosh.

So yes, while we're telling it how it is there are the facts.

Kirk,

I sent the paper work to sedo on time. When nothing was happening,I chased them. They said that they had not recieved the paper work (this has happened before and I don't know how because I always fax it) I did what I was supposed to do.I have names that I sold back in November of last year that still have not completed and it is not because the buyer has not paid and it is also not because I havn't sent the paper work out quickly.Having said all of that,in the FAQ section on Sedo, they say the following as a rough guideline

How long will the transfer take?

Question
How long will the transfer take?

Answer
This varies from domain to domain, and from registrar to registrar, so an easier question is how long is a piece of string? Quite simply, a transfer takes as long as it takes, as duration depends upon the efficiency of the registrars and on the level of cooperation offered by both buyer and seller. On average from an agreement being reached, to the seller being paid we estimate around 15 to 25 business days, for top level TLDs. Many ccTLDs take longer than this due to the different rules involved in their transfer. Obviously there are ways of facilitating transfers, which Sedo recommends you take, for example by taking a push if you are a buyer, however not all registrars have such options. For further information on "pushes" please view the question: What is a push/pull?.

You cancelled the agreement after 19 working days on 1 domain and 23 working days on the other. Also remember xmas was in the middle of that. You threw your toys out of the pram then.I didn't get on here saying,"hey, watch out for this guy,he buys names on Sedo and initiates chargebacks" I was PO'd about that, but hey, life does not always go the way we want it to!

I am not going to argue with you anymore.I did what needed to be done when I needed to do it.
Trying to make me look bad on this forum is rather sad,I hope you have got whatever you wanted from it and that you feel better now!

Toys out of the pram? Have you heard yourself? 19 working days and 23 working days is too long to wait without so much as a word from the seller. Ask anyone in the domaining industry.

Had you had the common decency to PM or email me that you had sent the paperwork was with Sedo then I wouldn't have withdrawn my payment. As far as I knew I had given my money away for no reason, and in business that simply is not good enough.

Well you've proven just what they'd be dealing with if they bought through you. Good luck with your sales.

Morning....

ok not too much in there that interests me, but happy to pay £200 for the lot can't see much wood for the trees to be honest but happy to take a punt at that level

TW

:confused:Why do offers have to made through Sedo? this just complicates matters and you have to pay commission?

Why cant you just handle it yourself and save any possible time issues and money?

Hi Denchonsky,

Ok, if you are interested in a name/s PM me with an offer. It need not go through Sedo, thats fine.

Thanks Tinky Wink for your offer, but I am still looking.
