I if i supply you a v.a.t number i do not have to pay v.a.t is that correct ????

 

No, but if you have a vat number you can claim the vat back

 

So the v.a.t process in trading domains is not the same as trading computer parts where we only need to supply a v.a.t number ??

Are sure about this ?? as i thought it was in the same classification as computer parts,phones etc where the v.a.t number needs only be supplied ??

I'm no vat expert but here goes

If you are vat registered then you have to charge vat on all goods or services you supply (some exceptions i.e. books, children's clothes etc..)

If you are vat registered you can claim it back, if you're not you can't.

Van Insurance Car Breakdown Cover

 

My understanding is if your in UK, you pay the VAT , if you have a VAT number you will claim it back. If your outside UK but in the EU, supply your VAT number to seller, then VAT does not need charging if. If your outside EU. No Vat is charged
