Isnt the new stadium called "New Anfield"?

Dont think they are moving to it till about 2010-2011 anyway.

They said it would continue to be called Anfield, although that was before the credit crunch and they may need to sell the name rights to raise cash for the stadium.

So who knows to be honest, bit of a gamble but at a grand you can't go wrong.

A lot depends on the name if Everton get permission to move stadiums.

They also have Goodison on Stanley Park, so they won't let Liverpool use the name without a fight unless they can move also.

To be honest, it is 50/50 and my guess is is just that.

Still think 3-4 years will make you the grand back anyway, then the people typing it in for nostalgia will be always bring in the cash.

The bizarre thing is that links at the bottom of the wikipedia article say that it won't be called Stanley Park and will retain the Anfield name.
