Told a few people about this idea but might as well see what people on here think. It's a weird one though!

What do you think of a dare site, kind of like kickstarter for dares. Such as "I'll get a tattoo saying Acorn Domains on my head for £1,000". Then if people chip in and it reaches that amount it's up to the person to go ahead and do it to get the money.

Few people I've mentioned it to think it's stupid, others like it.

Legal advice, check what your liability would be.

Also be prepared for what the human torch called 'nova' the media will villify and crucify you when people regret stupid things your site enabled. This would be my main concern

    +1

If you were to go ahead though, I'd call it 'Wanking for Coins', because that's how desperate/tragic people would have to be to use a site like that ;)

Interesting idea, but I would just keep it as an idea

What people will do for money or 5 minutes of fame/infamy is worrying

I think it's a good idea. I can see brands coughing up cash for people to get tattoos etc. I would pay £10 for Murray to get rabbit.co.uk tattooed on his forehead :D

Just gotta have solid terms and zero liability.

Looking at Kickstarter etc etc - I have seen so many projects on there and the products clearly never make it to market - where does the cash go? It's clearly released to the person requesting funding and they just spunk it up a wall?

And it's that time again. Can't seem to think of an idea (not going ahead with what I mentioned a few posts back) and not getting much content writing work.

Even if you've an idea that you think could work well I may set up a joint venture with you or something.

Made a twitter bot if anyone wants to test it out. It's called Recipe Suggester and does exactly what it says on the tin (hopefully!).

edit - few problems, back soon

    edit 2 - It's back :)
