Amazing - look at the email just received from 1&1

a domain renewal reminder 6 weeks in advance :p - it seems like their practices are changing - perhaps they've been reading acorn or finally have responded to acorn members concerns about their renewal procedures. I haven't yet logged in to see if they have now got a lapse option (like the fasthosts, heart etc).

This is a reminder about the forthcoming automatic domain
renewal for the following listed domains within your contract
due to expire in 6 weeks on 04 November 2009

1&1 automatically renews your domains for you so you never
have to worry about an interruption to your domain
