What does everyone except you know who ;) think about these cutnshut.co.uk cutandshut.co.uk which one should i have registered

Take Aim On Both!

Maybe good as blog/forum names reg both and see what happens.
If the shorter being the better I would aim for 'A' ! ie 'N' instead of
'and'
.

I almost misread this the first time I looked at it!

cutnshut.co.uk

So perhaps the other one is the better option.

But presumably you'd have both anyway, but just brand one?

Suzi

I have to admit I made the same error! But the 'n' certainly works well with the punchy rhythm of the words...

Am I missing something here.......surely these have zero commercial value. Personally I wouldn't have reg'd either.

I was commenting on their relevant merits, not their commercial worth (or otherwise!) :)

I can't see any possible value in those names undeveloped and even then hard to shake the negative overtones :)

Have these domains been branded into a great site with HUGE amounts of traffic? No, they haven't which is why I'm commenting on the value of the domains on their own, if we appraised domains on what they 'could' be worth if turned into a successful site then every domain could be appraised at some crazy amount!

They have no generic value and very little brandability..........who wants to associate their site with two car wrecks being welded together

Its like watching car crash TV! (pun intended) ;)

£0 for me I'm afraid.

I agree with your comment!

I do agree with you 100% I took too the topic
only on face value, which was to chose which
name could be more catchy than the other.

Most common terms like rock'n'roll, fish'n'chips
etc have been around for a long time so
cut'n'shut/ cutnshut.co.uk would be more
catchy than cutandshut.co.uk.

Go beyound the topic of chosing the catchest
of the two and attemping to appraise then
well I would stick with rocknroll.co.uk:twisted: and
fishnchips.co.uk :twisted:as the corner stone in the 'n' category
